Let me tell you a story...

One of my first events, I was coordinating a wedding. I had my itinerary in hand and the reception was flowing as I had planned. {Side note: Many coordinators tend to run all of the "reception activities" back to back in the beginning to get them out of the way. I decided to organize my events slightly differently}. A videographer who had been in the business nearly 20 years, did not agree with my itinerary, which had been approved by the Bride and Groom. He went above my authority, got on the microphone, and announced what HE felt should happen next. He disrespected my position and neglected to remember that this is what, our clients, the Bride and Groom wanted. It is their day...correct? Fast forward some time later...another wedding. Same itinerary format I used before, I am using again. A caterer, who also has been in the industry for about 20 years, stepped out of the kitchen to tell me personally that she had never seen a dinner service and reception run as flawlessly as I had done. I told you that to say this:

I take pride in my business. For me, it's more than business...it's personal. My Clients can tell you that while I prefer a casual approach when dealing with them, I handle business with great dignity. I treat my Clients no less than I would treat myself, giving each one an experience of grandeur and proficiency. I love what I do, I love my Clients, and I love you for just considering D.D.D.
